Commission: The Hour Is Later Than You Think

POWERFUL, THRILLING commission drawing by of J. Ryoga being confronted by Yami Yugi, sparking a rivalry that will further complicate the war between RWO and the Zaibach Federation. 

In the short time they had known each other, J. Ryoga grew accustomed to Yugi being full of surprises and secrets, but none greater than what resided in the "fancy necklace" that Yugi always wore (and guarded as if his life depended on it.) Whenever battles started getting intense, the "necklace" would glow with power briefly and Yugi would seemingly shift into another gear, showing a darker, serious and more ruthless side. 

J. Ryoga saw no real problem with this "Yami" side of Yugi because it usually signaled the beginning of the end for whoever stood in their way. No problem, that is, until Yami's fury is suddenly pointed in HIS direction inside in an abandoned temple. Here Ryoga learns the horrifying truth that Yami is actually the spirit of an ancient ruler who was once an ally of Big Fire. Showing no interest in the Zaibach's plans for conquest and dismissing RWO's chances of winning the war, Yami wishes only to rebuild his own kingdom and requires Ryoga's help to do so. However, the cost of helping Yami is far too high and would all but assure victory for Big Fire and his minions.

J. Ryoga quickly realizes that Yami isn't the type to take "no" for an answer, and that his newest ally is about to become yet another dangerous adversary.
